There is a wealth of activities to be enjoyed in and around West Bagborough.

Exmoor is a 30 minute drive away for those who enjoy a wilder countryside and there are a number of long distance walks that cross the area (The MacMillan Way, West Deane Way, The Coleridge Way).
The Jurassic Coast and the popular destinations of Lyme Regis, Beer and Weymouth are an hour or so by car.
The West Somerset Railway
10 minutes from Bashfords, the railway recaptures the era of the branch line network in the days of steam. Enjoy 20 miles of glorious Somerset scenery as the train rolls back the years on its journey from the Quantocks to the sea.

The beautifully restored gardens of Hestercombe are a short drive away as are the magical gardens of Cothay Manor.
